Honor Roll

Rich Township High School is celebrating a remarkable achievement as it announces that an impressive 40% of its student body of 2,404 has reached honor roll status in the first quarter of the academic year. This achievement is a testament to the hard work of the students and the supportive educational environment fostered by the faculty and staff.

Breaking down the honor roll achievements, the school has recognized 227 students with the Gold honor roll for maintaining a stellar 4.0 and above GPA. Another 311 students have been named to the Silver honor roll for achieving GPAs between 3.5 to 3.99, and 412 students have secured a place on the Bronze honor roll with GPAs ranging from 3.0 to 3.49.

Dr. Johnnie Thomas, Superintendent of the Rich Township High School District, praised the students for their impressive academic efforts, “Seeing nearly half of our students reach this level of academic success is inspiring. It's a clear indication of the commitment to excellence shared by our students and educators alike.”

The school’s Academy Leaders have held ceremonies to honor the students who achieved this distinction, reflecting the school’s commitment to celebrating academic excellence. The ceremonies are not only a means to recognize the students' hard work but also serve as an inspiration for all students to strive for such commendable academic standards.

 Lynn Fields and Janice Wells, the Co-Principals of Rich Township High School, issued a joint statement: “We are immensely proud of our students.
