Rich Township, IL – Rich Township High School District 227 proudly announces significant accomplishments by its students and staff in the first semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.
Key Highlights:
- Exceptional Freshmen On Track Rate: The Freshman on Track rate has soared to an impressive 90.4%, a substantial increase from 71.7% in the 2022-2023 school year. This remarkable improvement underscores our commitment to early academic success and the effectiveness of our support programs for incoming students.
- Increased Average Daily Attendance: The district achieved an Average Daily Attendance of 88.8%, up from 85% in the previous school year. This increase highlights our students' growing engagement and the positive impact of our attendance initiatives.
- Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Program Participation: A record number of 792 students are enrolled in at least one Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) program, an increase from 674 students in the 2022-2023 school year. This surge reflects our students' ambition and dedication to challenging academic pursuits.
- Significant GPA Achievements: 38% of our student body earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the first semester. This achievement demonstrates the academic resilience and excellence of our students in a wide array of subjects.
