Girls from both campuses of RTHS attended an advocacy-focused conference on Saturday, hosted by the 100 Black Women Chicago Metropolitan Chapter at Kennedy-King College. The event provided an empowering platform for young women to engage in discussions, develop leadership skills.
Today in chemistry class, sophomores had a blast learning science in a delicious way by making dry ice ice cream. Using milk, creamer, sugar and vanilla they mixed over dry ice which quickly froze the ingredients into creamy ice cream. A great hands on lesson, and a tasty treat!

Students in the C-CAP program recently had a hands-on experience making homemade Cinnamon Toast Crunch, learning the art of crafting this beloved snack from scratch. As they mixed, baked, and tasted their creations, they also discussed exciting career paths.

On Nov. 6, 2024, the Rich Township HS District 227 School Food Pantry was presented with a second monetary donation from DOT Foods in University Park in the amount of $5000 in their continuing support. This donation comes exactly 1 year after DOT Foods initial donation.
Business Professionals of America (BPA) members volunteered at the 41st Annual Special Olympics Motor Activity Training Program held at Moraine Valley Community College.
Students from the classroom had the unique opportunity to dive into the world of trades through an in-house field trip! Highlighting a multitude of questions prompting us to organize an engaging presentation with Pepper Construction Group, UJAMAA Construction,and STR Partners LLC
