Congratulations RTHS PACK team. The Pack Challenge Innovation Competition is reaching its exciting conclusion, with finalists preparing for the finale at PACK EXPO International from November 3-6, 2024, in Chicago, IL. Teams will be judged on their final designs, incorporating sustainability features, operator training, and flawless production runs, including a changeover of coffee cups. The winning team will gain recognition for their innovative solution and earn the chance to showcase their design at PACK EXPO Las Vegas next year!

Teen Driver Safety Fair at House of Hope was an eye opening experience for young drivers. Teens took part in a seatbelt simulator, experiencing the force of a 7mph crash. This event also featured a high energy performance by the Jesse White Tumblers, blending fun and education.
The Geometry in construction class applied their engineering and design skills to build a cart for a laser printer. Through this hands on project, they combined mathematical concepts with practical construction techniques, gaining experience in problem solving and teamwork.
Today students had a unique opportunity to engage with a panel discussing labor and delivery. The panel featured staff who shared personal experiences. This allowed students to ask questions and deepen their understanding of childbirth, a key aspect of child development.

Raptors saw an exciting debate competition at The HF Viking Classic, with a unique costume theme. Raptors showcased their skills, ending the day with a 2-2 record. The event not only highlighted their debating prowess but also fostered camaraderie and fun among participants.
Today was a stunning showcase of talent at the Raptor Rumble,where junior high and high school bands went head-to-head in a spirited competition. The air was electric as each band brought their unique flair, making for an unforgettable day of music and camaraderie.
Today we hosted Parent University. This is an innovative program designed to empower and engage parents in their children's education. Through workshops, resources, and community events, parents gain valuable skills and knowledge to support their kids' academic success.
The Rich Township Lady Raptors Volleyball Team scrimmaged against Olive Harvey college in Chicago today. Olive Harvey is eyeing the potential signing of Kamiya Butler, a standout talent headed to a D1 College.
During Construction Inclusion Week, RTHS students had the opportunity to see what the very beginning stages of construction look like. Pepper and Ujamaa Construction gave insights into the industry. Highlighting the new automotive and Ag science area.
