Greetings Raptor Fans: We want to share the following information regarding our game day protocols as we plan to host Bloom Township High School for our 2022-2023 Homecoming Football game, on Friday, September 23rd starting at 6:00 PM. We have changed the entrance and exit points for parking. Please use the link below to access the parking plan. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1c1mWarERGyQhU9CsM2Lu-pzFDD3U4AI4/view?usp=sharing Points of Interest for parking: • We will have one entry point (adjacent to Arquilla Drive) and one exit point (adjacent to the Dollar General). There will be security, along with additional assistance from traffic control, used to maintain the parking lot at the Fine Arts and Communication campus. • The parking lot will be closed at the conclusion of the second quarter of the Varsity game. • At the conclusion of the event, any families who have parked in the main (West) lot, East lot, or the church lot, will be directed to ONLY TURN RIGHT OUT OF THE LOT, with the flow of traffic. Any parents who are picking up students from the game must enter through the east entrance and park along the east and south side of the building. Entry to the stadium: • We will have several checkpoints along the pathway leading up to the field where ID's and essential bags will be checked. There will be no bookbags or drawstring bags allowed in the stadium. • Everyone attending the game must present an ID in order to enter. • Anyone 21 years old or older must have a state Driver's License or State ID. • Any recent Rich Township graduates who have not reached the age of 21, please use the following link to indicate if you are planning on attending the game. https://forms.gle/KR42ZwfVVqG2DAgLA • Rich Township students must have their physical ID with them and scanned. You will not be able to enter by ID number alone. • Bloom Township student must have their student ID card and be accompanied by a parent/guardian to enter the game. • No students from another school, besides Rich Township and Bloom Township will be allowed to enter the game. • No one will be allowed to enter the game after halftime. • There is a Good Night Policy. Once you leave the stadium gates you will not be allowed to re-enter. • All guests who are denied entry must immediately leave the school property or they will be considered trespassing.
At the conclusion of the game, all guests are asked to promptly leave the stadium.

The meeting will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, September 21st at 6:30 pm at the Fine Art and Communications Campus Auditorium. We are asking families to park in the west parking lot near the football field and enter through door T1 (auditorium door).

On Thursday, September 8th, U of I System President Tim Killeen continued his state-wide round table discussion tour in the South Suburbs. In partnership with State Rep. Debbie Meyer-Martin and Senator Mike Hastings, a group of Superintendents, Principals, Staff, and students all gathered to discuss how the U of I System can best support the needs of the South Suburban High Schools.
Dr. Johnnie Thomas volunteered to host the event at the Fine Arts and Communications campus, held in the newly constructed field house's Naval National Defense teaching space.
